Powerful Devs Hack Together
The Powerful Devs Hack Together is a 2-week global online hackathon where you'll have the opportunity to apply what you've learned from the conference to build smarter, faster solutions with less effort. This will run from February 13-28, 2025 at aka.ms/PowerfulDevs/Hack
Rules of entry!
Watch this video to understand the rules of entry and how your solution will be judged. Read the official rules!
What solution should you build?
The theme of the Powerful Devs Hack Together this year is secure and scalable AI-powered solutions, but beyond that, it's entirely up to you!
We are looking for original ideas that solve real-world challenges, using Power Platform low-code and pro-code tools and technologies in an appropriate and feasible way. We will be not only looking at what you build, but also how you deploy and maintain it, so show us how you can automate the build, deployment, and testing of your solution. We love seeing visually appealing solutions, but do consider accessibility, diversity, and inclusion.
Be sure to address the following questions:
- How would this solution scale?
- How does this solution ensure security best practices?
- How is this solution AI-powered?
Projects will be evaluated by our panel of judges against your chosen technologies and languages, using the following aspects:
- 20% Innovation
- 20% Real-World Impact
- 20% Technical Usability and Solution Quality – think security, scalability, and design
- 40% Alignment with your chosen hackathon category
Who can join?
Hack Together is open to anyone who wants to explore the endless possibilities of using the Power Platform for enterprise app development. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner, advanced maker, admin or a professional developer - all are welcome! Check out solutions submitted from the last Hack Together and get inspired to build something that's innovative with AI.
We'll have additional sessions during the Hack Together covering AI, automation, security, extensibility and so much more. These sessions will inspire you to get your creative juices flowing and help you turn your ideas into impactful solutions.

We will be communicating on our GitHub repo regarding further information and updates related to the hack, including Office Hours, Session Q & A, Project Submission Guidelines, Winner Announcements, and more! We will also post getting started and learning resources to this repo. You will also submit your final solution here.
Introduce yourself and join the conversation at aka.ms/PowerfulDevs/Hack/Discussions to ask questions, share ideas, and get feedback from Microsoft experts and other participants. You can look for teammates as well!
Your team can then submit your solution in GitHub Issues any time before February 28, 2025 at 11:59 PM PST.
